There are various funding options available for families at Explorers Nursery. Please see below for more information, and feel free to ask any questions you may have or check with your local council to determine your eligibility status for each scheme.
There is an optional one-off administration fee of £75 on joining, which can be added to your first invoice. This covers:
The following fees apply only when government funding is not being used.
Full Day: £85.00 per day 7am -6pm
Half Day: £61
7:00am – 1:00pm
1:00pm – 6:00pm
Short Day (9:00am – 3:00pm): £65.00
Extra Hour: £9.00 per hour
Children aged 9 months to 5 years may be eligible for funded childcare, subject to meeting government criteria. Funding can be claimed from the term after your child becomes eligible.

Any unused funded hours:
Used for additional sessions at parents’ request
Additional hours can be added at £9 per hour.
Any extra days will be charged at the standard daily rate.
Play-stay funded places are different from working-parent funding and are available to eligible families
All children automatically receive 15 hours of funded childcare from the term after their 3rd birthday, regardless of parental employment status.
Consumable charges contribute towards meals, snacks, specialised teaching learning resources extra activities

Please note: A discussion will need to take place regarding a child being provided with a hot meal at lunch time. Management may consider alternative opt-out requests on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability. Please note that approval is not guaranteed and will be at management’s discretion.
0-18 months

18 months - 2 years
A vibrant and engaging program emphasising social interaction, language development, and exploratory play to support their learning and growth.
2-3 years
A dynamic and interactive learning environment focusing on enhancing independence, creativity, and social skills through play-based activities and structured routines.
3-5 years
Getting little explorers ready for their next chapter building the foundations for literacy and numeracy through creative and hands-on activities to encourage a love of learning.
