Our fantastic Sensory Room is another new addition made possible by the building work in 2021, and is the most calm, relaxing room in the whole nursery (manager Jenna can often be found chilling out in there doing work on her laptop!).
A sensory room can help in supporting children’s emotional regulation, sensory exploration, and developmental growth.
Equipped with the latest sensory technology, the Sensory Room at Explorer’s Nursery is the perfect space for your child to relax and explore their senses. Through the use of light, colour, sound and texture our skilled practitioners encourage children to explore their senses in a safe, calming environment.
