Hello my name is Jenna I am the Nursery Owner and Manager here at Explorers. I am level 3 qualified, I hold my  paediatric first Aid first and have my food hygiene. I also hold my level 2 in safeguarding and am safeguarding lead alongside Emily and Claire. I oversee  the day to day operating of the nursery making sure everything runs smoothly. I am also on hand to offer support to both families and my work colleagues. I have my level 2 Health and Safety which allows me to take the lead ensuring health and safety is paramount in what we do at Explorers. Being a mum of 4 and a farmer's wife, I have a great passion for outdoor learning. I am proud to have gained my level 3 Forest school leader qualification and still make time to spend in the woodland, delivering sessions and teaching new skills to both children and staff. I am hands on in all my roles and love spending time in all rooms, challenging, reflecting and learning along the way.

Hello my name is Joanne, I work alongside the girls in preschool where I am passionate about supporting children, offering targeted intervention ensuring our extensive curriculum is accessible to all. I am level 3 qualified and have had many years experience across all ages. I also have my first aid qualification, level 2 safeguarding and food hygiene.

Hello my name is Hollie, I work as a senior member of staff in pre school. I have my food hygiene, Paediatric First Aid and level 2 SafeGuarding. I came to Explorers as an apprentice and have learnt so much in my time here. I have a big interest in child development and proudly take on the role of behaviour management lead. I have also completed my  level 2 leadership and  management which supports me in my senior position. I have a breadth of experience and have worked across all ages with my passion lying in preschool.

Hello my name is Lauren, I have worked across all ages during my 6 years with my Explorers family. After becoming a Mum myself I realised my passion lay in baby room, where I  work alongside a strong team to give the best care and deliver a range of exciting and at times messy opportunities to our smallest learners.I hold my level 3 childcare qualification.I also have my paediatric first aid and food hygiene. I have  completed a cache diploma in safe guarding. I believe strongly in the benefits of outdoor learning and I'm committed in ensuring our babies learn and develop in our outstanding outdoor environment.

Hello my name is Emily. I work as a senior member of staff in preschool. I have gained many new skills in my time at Explorers and I'm passionate to continue to learn and put my strengths into practice.

I have a level 3 qualification and I'm working towards my level 4 and 5. I also have my level 2 safeguarding  and work alongside Jenna and Claire as safe guarding lead. I work alongside Claire as the Setting SENCO lead. I also hold my paediatric first aid and food hygiene. I have  completed my level 3 management training which supports me in my senior role. I  am passionate about outdoor learning and one of my proudest achievements is gaining my level 3 forest school qualification. This means I can support children in building confidence, and learning new skills in our versatile  woodland areas.

Hello my name is Amy I joined the Explorers team as an apprentice, I first discovered my love of Early Years when I completed an apprenticeship in a local primary school as a teaching assistant. In my time at Explorers I quickly realised my passion was in baby room,  this is where I work providing high levels of care and making each day new and exciting for all children in my care.I now hold my level 3 qualification, as well as food hygiene, pediatric first aid and level 2 in safeguarding. I have a big interest in speech and language and strive to make our setting a language rich environment.

Hello my name is Claire. I am deputy manager and very passionate about working within the twos room. I have my level 3 childcare qualification. I also hold my paediatric first aid and have my food hygiene. I'm very passionate about being the SENCO (Special Education Needs Coordinator) lead at Explorers working alongside Emily in supporting all staff to ensure all children's individual needs are met. I have my level 2 safe guarding and I work alongside Emily and Jenna as safe guarding lead. I have completed my level 3 management training which supports me in my deputy role. I have a huge interest in speech and language and take my role in this area very seriously. I am committed to closing the word gap in our setting and supporting staff and families to raise strong, confident communicators. One of my favourite things I have enjoyed doing in my time at Explorers is gaining my level 3 forest school qualification. I have a love of the outdoors and am so happy to be able to teach new skills and inspire our children to love and enjoy the outdoors as much as I do.

Hello my name is Harriet, I love being part of the amazing team in pre school. I have my level 5 qualification and also hold my first aid qualification, food hygiene and level 2 safe guarding. I have a great knowledge around child development and use my skills to deliver outstanding, unique learning opportunities daily. I also enjoy being in the forest and am keen to develop my forest school skills alongside the children.

Hello my name is Megan, I have my  level 6 qualification and also hold my Pediatric First Aid. As well as holding food hygiene and level 2 safeguarding. I began my journey in preschool but soon realised my heart lay in Tots room with our 2 year olds.

My skills and passion for child development are well suited to my role. I am a very skilled teacher and have excellent abilities in using children's interests to help them to achieve goals, build confidence and learn while having fun. I enjoy being outdoors and am learning new skills in the forest alongside our Tots.

Hello my name is Emily, I have a thirst for learning and I'm always trying to develop and better myself. I have a level 4 qualification and I'm currently working towards my level 5 with a view to go onto my level 6. I use my knowledge in my practice where I  support children to learn and develop to the best of my abilities. I am very creative and have a flair for art. I enjoy putting my skills to good use in the environment. I have recently joined the Explorers team and love working alongside the girls in Tots room.

I also hold my paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding.

Hello my name is Laura-Jayne.I have my level 3 Childcare Qualification. I also hold my food hygiene, Pediatric First Aid and safeguarding. I am proud to work in the Baby Room with Amy and Lauren. I am from a farming backround and have a love of the outdoors. I love exploring in the forest and farm areas at Explorers bringing new experiences and opportunities to our children.

Hello my name is Ninah. I have a passion for learning and proudly hold a Bachelors of Arts with first class in Early Primary Education. I love working alongside the outstanding team in preschool where I aim to bring high levels of teaching to our eager learners. I am devoted to our outdoors based attitude to learning and this is what drew me to Explorers. I am also a qualified first aider, have my food hygiene and have a level 2 in safeguarding.
